Will its 59 F and sunny now, it started out at 34 F and frosty this morning. sounds like rain starting tonight all day Thur,Fri,Sat, back to the same old rut again.

I know this is posted on yesterdays question, but you don’t have anything out there for 2day yet. Happy May Day to you and Niki,
In Oxford, it is traditional for revellers to gather below Magdelen College tower to listen to the college’s choir for what is called May Morning. It is then traditional for some students to jump off Magdalen Bridge into the River Cherwell. In recent years the bridge has been closed on 1 May to prevent people from jumping, as the water under the bridge is only 2 feet (61 cm) deep and jumping from the bridge has resulted in serious injury in the past. Hey Dad! I didn’t see that you slipped this comment in until just now. Yes indeed that is the tradition. And yes, they have supposedly closed off the bridge; a couple of guys who jumped off a couple of years ago broke their legs and I have heard that one is still in a wheelchair.
I realized it was May day when I went to Costa Coffee in the morning and a group of students, who obviously hadn’t gone to bed yet from the festivities of the night before, were there “sobering” up.
