2Day’s Question (2 May 08)

What do you do when you have a toothache?

  1. Call the dentist and make an appointment
  2. Try to ignore it and hope that it goes away; after a week or two, call the dentist and make an appointment
  3. Grab the nearest pliers and pull it out
  4. Drink lots so that the pain goes away (and focuses itself more in your head)
  5. Other

Option 2 for me these days (haven’t had to call the dentist yet, so most of my toothaches have subsided after a while)

Depends on what kind of toothache it is. If the tooth is sensitive to cold it is probably just a bite problem. If it is sensitve to hot - that may indicate a problem that might requre a root canal and a dental appt should be made. If it is an ache that won’t go away - again, a dental appt should be made.
I don’t get many toothaches, which is good, because I don’t enjoy going to the dentist.

Start with a 2 and maybe a little bit of 4 (any excuse). Then as a wus, go for a 1.

Arlys, Good advice! I forgot that you studied to be a dental assistant.

Mine right now is just an annoying dull ache in one of my crowns. I am assuming that tomorrow it will have dissipated.

I do #2 because a lot of times, the pain does go away on its own.

I gave up #4 after this weekend.

Did your toothache go away?
Is my newly added picture showing up?

Yep, the toothache went away; and yes, your pic is up. I had to approve the first comment under this new name. All other comments under this name will now show up without the need of approval.

p.s. You have to be sure to log yourself in before every comment in order for the pic to show up.

p.s.s. Okay, the picture did show up but now it is gone for some reason.

Glad your tooth is feeling better.

I wonder what happened to my picture….?

It is there now….don’t do anything. Just leave it as is.

YEAH!!!
